Sawtooth Specialty Tools Announces Kapex Compatibility
World's best miter saw stand greets new Kapex miter saw
MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – July 7, 2008 – Sawtooth Specialty Tools, maker
of the world famous Sawhelper Ultrafence, today introduced the
Model K bracket, specifically
manufactured for the new Festool Kapex miter saw. Designed to attach effortlessly to the the Festool Kapex, the
Model K bracket from Sawtooth Specialty Tools allows Kapex users to take advantage of the accuracy, performance
and versatility of the Sawhelper Ultrafence. The continuous support of solid aluminum wings along with the accuracy
and speed of the Ultrafence Flipstop have made the Sawhelper Ultrafence the premium miter saw extension wings for the
past two decades.
The new brackets were designed fit directly to the side of the Kapex and
they utilize the same self-aligning coupler and bracket system found with the other Ultrafence models. Directly attaching
to the sides of the Kapex gives the Ultrafence a lot of stability, which is always one of the goals of Sawtooth Specialty
Tools when designing a new product. Also, the Kapex brackets have been designed to be backwards compatible with the other
Ultrafence models, so taking the extension wing directly from the Festool miter saw and slipping it onto any other saw
you have set up for the Ultrafence takes only seconds.
Price and Availability
Available in North America July 9th, the Sawhelper Model K bracket sells for $64.95 USD and can be ordered by calling 800-441-1388.
