About Sawtooth Specialty Tools

Sawtooth Specialty Tools, Inc. is the manufacturer and distributor of the Sawhelper line of products. Our headquarters and distribution center is located in Golden Valley, Minnesota, just west of downtown Minneapolis.

From our facility, we ship first-rate tools to carpenters, contractors, production facilities and fabricators across North America. Our products are largely sold directly to the end users, but we will, over the coming months, be adding select distributors in certain high-demand markets.

The Sawhelper products were introduced in in the early '80s by American Design & Engineering. Upon the retirement of the AD&E founder, Sawtooth assumed ownership of the Sawhelper products. We were seeking products that fit certain criteria, among them the ability to manufacture domestically. From the first time we set up an Ultrafence, we could tell that it was an amazingly well-conceived and engineered product. Is was, as they say, a no-brainer.

Since their creation, Sawhelper products have been manufactured in the Twin Cities. We are carrying on the tradition by establishing a network of local suppliers and fabricators to deliver true "Made in the USA" quality and value.

Our tools are not cheap, our tools are not disposable and our tools are not for the casual user. We serve the pro who demands long-lasting performance and value.

Going forward, our goal is to bolster the Sawhelper product line with other tools that make your work better, faster, more profitable and - yes - more fun.
